Meredith Gillespie, Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Gillespie is a clinical child psychologist with extensive experience in psychological assessment and treatment of children, youth and their families across a range of developmental concerns and mental health conditions.

 

She brings exceptional skill to the provision of care for children and families. Dr. Gillespie has developed a strong clinical practice working with young children, school-age children, and adolescents, struggling with emotion regulation, anxiety, OCD and mood disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD and ASD. Dr. Gillespie strives to collaborate with clinicians across disciplines, to best support the complex needs of her clients.

Over the last decade, Dr. Gillespie served as the Psychology Program Lead for Boomerang Health powered by Sick Kids, a satellite multidisciplinary clinic developed by Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children in Vaughan, Ontario.  Her role at Boomerang Health capitalized on her experience working in both private paediatric and community-based mental health agencies, such as ROCK Reach Out Centre for Kids (Halton Region), Montreal Children's Hospital, and the McGill Psycho-Educational & Counselling Clinic.

Dr. Gillespie earned her doctorate in School/Applied Child Psychology from McGill University. Her educational background also includes a Master’s of Arts (Educational Psychology) from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University.
